C.K.Georghiou, is a student at St.Mary’s University hoping to find a place in the world of Media and Communication, but finds herself also wanting to teach kindergarten. She has spent most of her childhood traveling with her parents, which has helped her learn and experience cultures outside her own.
As a student at St.Mary’s, C.K.Georghiou is involved in Sigma Sigma Sigma (which she holds the social chair position), Student Marianist Friends, and The Society of Leadership and Success, where she is the Vice President.
Although her family is not military in her early childhood C.K. Georghiou has traveled a lot between Europe and the United States. She has lived in Nicosia, Cyprus and Doha, Qatar for most of her childhood and then returned to the states when she was eight years old. While living in these other countries she got the opportunity to learn about other cultures, which has become a passion of hers.
For her there is nothing like getting lost in a culture that is not your own and learning all about it and because of this she found herself majoring in English Communication Arts so that it will allow her to learn how to communicate with people all over the world.
